Privacy Policy

WGAN Find a Pro (the “map”) is run by WGAN Holdings LLC, doing business as We Get Around Network (“WGAN”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect when you use the map, why, and who sees it. Questions or requests: findapro@wegetaroundnetwork.com.

When you post a job, we collect what you enter: your name, email, phone number (optional), company and what kind of hirer you are; the property address and its location; the services, property details, timing, budget, preferred language and notes you give; and any files you attach.

Pros. Listings come from each pro's WGAN Directory profile: business name, location, service area, services, equipment, ratings and sample work, plus the email and phone we use to send jobs (not shown publicly). When a pro signs in to the lead inbox, by email link or with Google, we receive their email address, and we keep the quotes and replies they send.

Job alerts. If you ask to hear about new pros in an area, we keep your email, the area and the filters you chose.

Automatically. When you use the map we receive your IP address and browser type. With a job post or an agreement to our terms we keep the IP address only as a one-way scrambled code, not the address itself. We record places searched on the map (the location, not who searched) and count views of pros' listings for their statistics, using a temporary identifier that ends when you close the tab. We also collect anonymous page-speed measurements.

Records of agreement. When you post a job or sign in, we record which version of our Terms of Use you agreed to, and when.

• To send your job to matched pros, pass on their quotes, and introduce you to the pro you pick.
• To email you about your job, and to email or text pros about jobs (texts only to pros who opted in).
• To take payment for paid options.
• To keep out spam, fraud and automated copying of the directory.
• To show pros how many hirers search near them, as counts and places, never who searched.
• To run, measure and improve the map, and to meet legal obligations.

Pros. Pros matched to your job see what the job is and roughly where, without your name or contact details. Only the pro you pick receives your name, email, phone, company, the address, your notes and attachments.

The WGAN Directory. We report how often each pro's listing was shown or opened, without identifying visitors. After a hire, we may email you a link to review the pro on the WGAN Directory, where reviews are published.

Service providers that run parts of the map for us, under their own privacy terms: Vercel (hosting, bot protection, page-speed measurement and cookieless visitor counts: which pages are viewed, from which site, country and device type, never who you are), Supabase (database, file storage and sign-in), Resend (email), SimpleTexting (texts to pros), Stripe (payments; your card details go to Stripe and never reach us), Cloudflare Turnstile (spam check on forms) and Google (maps, address search, and Google sign-in for pros).

Sponsors and partners receive only totals, such as how often their placement was seen or clicked. We never give them the pro list or your details.

When required. We may disclose information to comply with the law, to protect the rights and safety of WGAN, our users or others, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

We set cookies only to keep pros and WGAN staff signed in. Your browser also stores, on your own device, the pros you save, a draft of an unfinished job form, your map settings and the temporary identifier described above. We use no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking.

Because we do not track you across other sites, a browser “Do Not Track” signal does not change anything we do.

We keep job posts, quotes and records of agreement for as long as we need them to run the service, resolve disputes and keep business records. Job alerts last until you unsubscribe. When we no longer need information, we delete it or keep it only in a form that does not identify you.

• Ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing findapro@wegetaroundnetwork.com. We may keep what the law requires, or what we need to settle a dispute.
• Unsubscribe from job alerts with the link in any alert email.
• Pros update their listing, including contact details, in the WGAN Directory.

If you live in California or another state with a consumer privacy law, you may have further rights, such as knowing what we collected about you in the past year. We honor those requests, and we will not treat you differently for making one.

We protect information with access controls, encrypted connections and by storing IP addresses only in scrambled form. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise that information will never be exposed.

The map is for businesses and adults hiring them. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed, and we will note significant changes on the map. Questions, requests, or concerns about this policy: findapro@wegetaroundnetwork.com.
